The Sonoma County Harvest Fair is a renowned event that showcases the finest wines from one of the world’s most prestigious wine regions. It is a platform where winemakers, connoisseurs, and enthusiasts come together to celebrate excellence in winemaking. The Sweepstakes award is given to the top 3 wines out of over 1000 entries. For De La Montanya Winery, this year's fair has been particularly significant as we bask in the glory of our winemaking finesse.

The "Specialty Wine" category at the Sonoma County Harvest Fair is highly competitive, featuring wines that push the boundaries of creativity and innovation. Winning in this category is a reflection of our commitment to pushing the envelope in winemaking. "Twisted Jill" is an embodiment of our winery's spirit.

The journey to creating "Twisted Jill" Blanc de Blanc was a labor of love. Thanks to the collaborative synergy between Rack & Riddle: Custom Sparkling Wine Services, the invaluable mentorship of Wayne Donaldson, and the exceptional combination of De La Montanya grapes and a skilled winemaker, we infused each bottle with a profound blend of expertise and passion, culminating in a sparkling wine that astounded the judges.

Receiving the Best in Class and Sweepstakes awards for "Twisted Jill" is a source of immense pride for De La Montanya Winery. Along with the Gold placings of our 2021 Pinot Noir Sharli Vineyard, Russian River Valley ($65 - 75 cases left) and our 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley ($50 - 75 cases left). This recognition would not have been possible without the dedication of our entire team and the unwavering support of our loyal wine lovers.

Elegant bouquet of delicate white fruit. Exceptional minerality with a long silky, almost creamy finish. Well balanced and a great example of Blanc de Blanc.
